If you've been around the blog for awhile, you'll know that I have a love for all things vintage. I love the challenge of finding ways to incorporate pre-loved items in a way that fits modern style
This can get a little tricky when trying to incorporate vintage into your everyday wardrobe. It can so easily start to look costume-y or kitschy.
I decided it might be fun to make this challenge into a new feature on TSD - finding style icons from past era's and turning their awesome style into something that works for our modern lives.

If you haven't already guessed, my muse for today's outfit is the timeless, Audrey Hepburn. I have been a super fan of her look since I first saw Roman Holiday and fell in love with her simple yet chic style. Incorporating the classic LBD, Wayfarers, and a vintage bag with simple hair and modern shoes gives a nod to the mid-century, but keeps me from looking like I stepped off the set of Mad Men. I feel this look would be appropriate for work or even a date night.
