Dress and Necklace: F21
Ring: gift from my sister
Shoes: Buffalo Exchange
As you can see, I've already had to abandon the fringe I loved so much. It's just way too hot! The first day it hit 106 and my bangs were a sweaty mess sticking to my forehead, I decided they could wait until autumn. Seeing as it's been so hot, I've decided that this sanctuary I call my in-laws back yard, will have to be the back drop to my photos for the rest of the summer. It's completely shaded and covered in grass, which makes it about 10 degrees cooler than the rest of Phoenix :) When it cools off in November, I will get back to trying to showcase more of the desert landscape that surrounds our city. Hope you all are having a fantastic Friday!

It's so hard for me to grow out the bang. I always get this urge to trim them when it heats my lashes. Can't stand. You look darling in those photos! Have a happy Friday! xoxo

I love the floral dress and the colors of it! The nails look great too! I had mine that color last week, and this week no time for any manicure yet! Have a great weekend! xx Pip

Once it gets hot and sticky outside, my bangs become sideswept too! I just can't stand flat messy hair on my forehead.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for some summer sandals just like these! I love the nudey color and the strap around the ankle! Sucha cute outfit. Check out my blog and follow along on bloglovin if you'd like!

Wow, 106 degrees. I don't blame you for growing out the bangs. It is absolutely awful how horrid they look at the slightest hint of forehead perspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love your dress and your nails, and the fact that your in-laws manage to keep their grass alive despite the heat. My yard looks like a blanket of hay at the moment.
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteHi dear, the side-swept fringe looks as good as the blunt one did. This is a pretty summer's day outfit, serene colour and lovely print, you do ladylike elegance so well!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the blue dress and the fact that you're in your in-laws backyard because it's cooler- a girl after my own heart! Hope you have a great week and keep in touch!
