Dress: my sister's closet via F21
Necklace and Brooch: gifts
Shoes: gift from my mama via Target
Bag and Ring: Thrifted
I love borrowing clothes from my little sister. What can I say, she has good taste, and is so very generous with her closet. Plus, it's such a great way to try out styles I wouldn't normally buy myself (like this boho dress, which I love!) I recently received a request to do a style feature on my sister, which she so graciously agreed to do. So, hopefully we can have this up soon!
Anyway, this is what I wore to my work party last Saturday. I'd only been there a week, and had to go to a party, at my bosses house, with people that I've very recently met and don't know too well. If you know me at all, I am extremely shy. Especially with people I don't really know. So, this was a bit of a challenge for me. Thankfully, I had my ever sweet mister by my side which made it a little easier. And it ended up being a ton of fun...especially after I had a mojito to loosen me up ;)

The dress is very cute, it looks nice on you. I don't live close enough to my sister to trade, also we are very different sizes and couldn't share many things. It's really great that you and your little sister can trade clothing and that you take advantage of that.
ReplyDeleteThat dress and those shoes are so cute! Like the perfect spring outfit <3

first of all, you look really pretty in your borrowed dress. go, little sister! and if it ever gets chilly in AZ (i know it does, i've been there before!), i bet some brown, knee high boots would also look great with it.
ReplyDeletesecond of all - bravo to you for going to the party after only a week of knowing these people. i, too, am a little shy so i feel your pain. but isn't it great how even though we feel a bit nervous at first, it almost always winds up being worth it in the end? thank goodness for cocktails ;)
